Welcome to the world of Irish singers.

Due to excessive begging and pleading by my parents, I have decided that BookMarks will become a blog about Irish Singers, particularly the most obscure ones. A quick name-drop (nobody will know anything about these people, well maybe…if you’re Mom or Dad. ) Mary Black, Frances Black, Sinead Lohan, Jack L, “Sweaty” Christie, Maura O’Connell, Eleanor Mcevoy, Dolores Keane, Paul Brady…that enough for you? Cause it’s only the beginning. Remember, singers are Irish best the. What? Oh, I’m suffering from “word salad”.

This is Dolores, Mary, and ehh..someone I don’t know singing an ultra-popular song written by Eleanor which she now hates. Yep, it’s complicated.

I’m going to step up here and sing the end of this thing.
As much as I love singing, I also love books.
